About Midwife Emma

I'm Emma, a registered midwife based in Scotland. I trained at UWS and have worked in the NHS throughout my career, but over the last few years I've built a second life in midwifery education through my business, By Midwife Emma.

I created The Birth Academy because I kept seeing the same thing. Brilliant birth workers who were passionate, dedicated and skilled, but without a central, trusted place to find what they needed.

This membership is my answer to that. Built by a midwife who has lived it, and who believes this profession can take you so much further than a 12-hour shift.
